Veterans to Farmers: Veteran-owned farm event cancelled

Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri – November 20, 2014 – The Farm Tour for Veterans at Falcon Ridge Farm located near Lynchburg, Mo. on Saturday, November 22 has been cancelled due to forecasted bad weather. All of those that have registered will be contacted individually regarding the cancellation.

This event, which was sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs, the Sustainable Ozarks Partnership, Lincoln University Cooperative Extension, United Natural Foods Inc. Foundation, and the National Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA) will be rescheduled for a date in the spring. Specifics for the rescheduled event have not been determined at this point.
